SUNSHINE COAST, QUEENSLAND (30 October, 2025) – The next generation of surfing stars will descend on the Sunshine Coast this weekend (1–2 November) for the First Set GromQuest pres. by We Are Feel Good Inc.
This exciting and supportive event offers junior surfers valuable competition experience in a fun, community-focused environment. Following the success of last year’s event, more than 100 juniors are set to compete across divisions ranging from Under 10 Parent-Assist through to the Under 18 Boys and Girls.
Competitors will have the chance to win incredible prizes, including an Olympic Silver Medallist Jack Robinson SharpEye surfboard, as well as prize packs from We Are Feel Good Inc. and Cooee.
The event is designed to give young surfers the opportunity to showcase their skills while competing in an encouraging and inclusive atmosphere. With the support of First Set Boardstore and We Are Feel Good Inc., this year promises to be an exciting weekend of surfing and activities.
SharpEye Surfboards will also be on site hosting a board demo activation, giving competitors the chance to test some of the world’s best-performing boards.
As a mobile event, the competition location may change depending on swell conditions to ensure the best possible waves. Competitors and spectators are encouraged to check the Surfing Queensland Instagram account (@surfing_queensland) after 6AM each day for location updates.
