After the success of last year’s Inaugural Surfing Queensland Golf Day, we are thrilled to be running the event in 2024. The date for the 2024 Surfing Queensland Golf Day has moved to 1 November, taking place at RACV Royal Pines Golf Course.
A golf day run by surfers for surfers, raising funds for our junior high performance program – Surfing Queensland Academy (SQA).
The SQA was established in 2022 to support Queensland’s best Under 18 juniors, by providing them with the opportunity, pathway and resources to reach their full potential as elite athletes.
The SQA program was proven to be an incredible success within the first year. Surfing Queensland was crowned overall State Champions at the Australian Junior Titles, winning by the biggest margin in 22 years.
Your involvement in the 2024 Surfing Queensland Golf Day will help us increase our overall offering of the SQA program and assist our junior surfers to become the best they can possibly be.
Play 18 holes in teams of four, Ambrose style with golf carts at one of Queensland’s most prestige courses. Expect ice cold beverages to get you around the course and an on course BBQ. Post game there will be a catered lunch.
Enjoy competitive challenges such as Longest Drive, Putting Competition and Nearest the Pin.
There are thousands of dollars worth of prizes to be won, along with raffles and an auction.
