Surfing Queensland Launches a New Women’s Surf Program, ‘Surf Sisters’, to Break Down Participation Barriers for Women in Surfing, by providing more opportunities for women aged 18+ to get involved with the sport.

Surf Sisters aims to encourage and promote inclusiveness and self-confidence while offering women the opportunity to get together and be involved in multiple free surf coaching lessons, access to online surf coaching tutorials by Surf Better Now and an organic pathway into boardrider club activities and social competitions where they’re able to continue developing their skills in surfing if they wish to do so.

Of course it’s lots of fun but the best part is…IT’S FREE!

Beginner Lessons

If you’re completely new to surfing, have given it a go a few times and want to continue learning or you’re able to comfortably ride white water waves but want to improve on your foundational skills, the beginner lessons will suit you!

Intermediate Lessons

Whether you surf consistently and want to continue to build on your skills or you haven’t picked up your board in a while, as long as you’re confident surfing small/medium-sized unbroken waves, the intermediate lessons will be perfect for you!
